To makethis Cherry Vodka Jello Shots recipe, you’ll firstplace ten 2-ounce plastic cups on a tray or baking sheet. Place a maraschino cherry with stem into each cup and set aside.

Add the cherry JELL-O powder into a medium mixing bowl. Add the boiling water to the JELL-O and whisk until fully dissolved.

Add ice cold cherry vodka to the hot jello mixture and whisk to combine. Add the grenadine syrup (optional) and stir to mix.

Very carefully pour the liquid jello mixture into each cup, filling up close to the top. Place the tray of cups into the refrigerator and chill for at least 4 hours to allow the gelatin to “set”.

Ingredients

10 plastic souffle cups (2 ounces)
3 ounce box JELL-O, cherry flavor
1 cup boiling water
1 cup cherry flavored vodka, ice cold
2 tablespoons grenadine syrup
10 maraschino cherries, with stems

Instructions

1. Place 10 (2 oz) plastic cups on a tray or small baking pan. Place a cherry with stem into each cup and set aside.

2. Pour the cherry JELL-O powder into a medium mixing bowl. Add the boiling water and whisk until the JELL-O is dissolved. Add the ice cold cherry vodka to the hot JELL-O mixture and whisk to combine. Add the grenadine syrup and stir to mix.

3. Carefully pour the liquid jello mixture into each cup, filling up to the top.Chill for at least 4 hours to allow the gelatin to “set”.

Notes

–For ice cold vodka, place bottle in freezer several hours before making this recipe.

–If you wish, you can omit the grenadine syrup, however, we recommend adding it to boost the red color.

    yummm …. those look and sound good! What brand of vodka did you use? I only ask as I’ve not seen cherry flavored?

      Hi Jan!

      For this recipe, Burnett’s Cherry Vodka was used. But nowadays there is quite a variety of brands that make flavored vodkas – Pinnacle is another one we’ve used, but there is also Smirnoff and Skyy (and others) who both have cherry flavored vodka. Hope that helps!
